Linz and TMT connected three times per week

TRIESTE - Trieste Marine Terminal and Linz are now connected three times a week by direct roundtrip trains.

The service has been enhanced in mid-June to respond to the growing demand of the Austrian market, which finds in Trieste its natural gateway to the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the Far East. All rail services connecting TMT and Austria are open to the market and serve, besides Linz, Vienna  and Wolfurt  with direct trains, also the area of Villach with the historical “Julia” service, which links in single wagon system Salzburg, Linz, Vienna and Wolfurt.
