First call of MAE (AAX) service Hyundai Supreme at Trieste today

Hyundai Supreme is the first ship of the new direct Hyundai, Hanjin, Yang Ming and Uasc’s joint FE-Adriatic service to call at Trieste Marine terminal.
The 4.700 teus vessel berthed at TMT this morning as planned.
“ We are very happy the first vessel is now at Trieste” Mr Oh, managing director of Hyundai Italy, commented. “We are pushing as much as we can to increase the volumes via Trieste for both import and export, and we feel the answer from the market is more and more positive not only in Italy, but also in Austria, Germany and Hungary.”
The rotation of the service is Trieste, Rijeka, Venice, Port Said, Singapore, Hong Kong, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Singapore, Colombo, Jeddah, Port Said, Alexandria, Mersin, Koper, Trieste, and the vessels deployed are between 4000 and 4700 teus capacity.
The new service comes on top of the already existing regular joint between Maersk and CMA-CGM, and put additional space at disposal of the central and eastern European customers for their traffics to/from the Far east and the Mediterranean.
