Trieste Marine Terminal meets Turkish key partners at Istanbul Logitrans
TRIESTE – Logitrans is an international platform with an exhibitor increase of 16% and 158 companies from 24 countries: it is the largest logistics fair in the Eurasian region. The three-day Istanbul Logitrans closed its doors on November 15, 2019 with more than 15,600 participants. A merger of several companies is representing the Port of Trieste as a hub for Turkish traffic and the maritime Silk Road.
Logitrans was the right event for Trieste Marine Terminal to reconfirm its key role as European gateway for the Turkish cargo moving to/from Italy and Central/Eastern European Countries. A wide networking activity has been carried out by TMT and the whole Port community with the aim to further strengthen the collaboration with Logistics Operators and Shipping Lines in one of the most important Mediterranean market for the Port of Trieste. «It is very important to be here meeting some of our Turkish key partners» Marco Zollia, Sales director of TMT, reported. «The competitive advantages of TMT, such as the fast direct maritime connections with the Turkish Ports, the infrastructural capacity of the Terminal and railways to handle high volumes, are some of the key tools in our positive and growing relationship with the Turkish market» he concluded.
