Su di un’area di 400.000 mq, il terminal sviluppa le proprie attività grazie all’utilizzo di moderni mezzi ed attrezzature che consentono l’ottimizzazione delle operazioni di banchina, piazzale e ferrovia. Considerata l'attuale capacità di oltre 900.000 teu, il terminal può puntare ad una significativa ulteriore crescita.
Il sistema operativo IT integra l’intera attività operativa del terminal, mantenendo le operazioni sotto un costante controllo in tempo reale.
L’operatività è garantita su base h 24, 7 giorni su 7 e 362 giorni l’anno, con l’esclusione del 1 maggio, 15 agosto e 25 dicembre.
