Trieste Marine Terminal, 500,000 Teu wall broken in November

 

TRIESTE - For the first time in its history, TMT overcomes 500,000 teu handled in a year. The record has been reached during the operation of MV Grete Maersk on November 30th.

 

In the first 11 month of 2017, TMT moved 500.226 Teu, with a +21.47% compared to the same period of 2016 and a forecast of 540,000 teus within December 2017. For the whole Port the forecast is 600,000 teus.

 

TMT would like to warmly thank all its customers and logistics operators active at the terminal for the support received and for making this target real. A special and warm thanks also to all the TMT workers and employees for their dedication and efforts to reach this goal.
