TMT welcomes representatives of Yakushima Denko and Yusen Logistics Hungary

During the last weeks representatives of the Japanese company Yakushima Denko Co. Ltd. and of their freight forwarder, Yusen Logistics Hungary, visited Trieste Marine Terminal from where part of their cargo to Hungary is presently routed.
The delegation have been received at the Port Authority of Trieste. Zeno D’Agostino, Commissioner of the Port, and Fabrizio Zerbini, President of TMT, presented in details the container terminal underlining the already existing advantages as well as the short and long-term development plans. After that, the delegation visited Molo VII having the chance to see amongst other things the rail infrastructure, the oceanic vessel ready to be operated and the in progress upgrading of one crane.
The efforts in operation at TMT together with the strong commercial activity to develop the rail connection to Hungary is producing results. Trieste is now recognized by the market as an alternative reliable gateway for the Hungarian cargo.
