TMT keeps increasing Teu (+25.5%) and rail volumes (+56.2%) during January

TRIESTE – Trieste Marine terminal container volumes in January 2017 record +25.5% compared to the same period of 2016. Following the growing trend already registered in 2016, the number of full containers shows a +35%.

 

The intermodal traffic moved during January has increased by 56.2% compared to the same period of last year. International traffic keeps increasing the figures with Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia playing a major role. Trieste still confirms itself as the only port in the Adriatic with a wide and modern rail infrastructure ready to serve additional intermodal volumes.
