April reflects positive trend for TMT with +21.3% for containers and +40% for train volumes

TRIESTE - In April, the total volumes moved by the container terminal of the port of Trieste still record a significant grow (+21.3% in Teu) compared to the same period of last year.

 

A considerable increase of the volumes moved by rail by TMT is also evident when compared to last year’s same period, with a 40.4% increase in total volumes. In particular, the traffic to/from Hungary shows a significant growth (+95%), followed by Germany (+32,7%) and Austria (+9,4%). The total intermodal volumes moved by TMT in the first four months of 2017 shows a +50% compared to the same period of 2016.
