Special operation with Arcalupa at Molo VII

One year after the first similar, exceptional operation, Trieste Marine Terminal has hosted the launch of the hull and superstructure of the extra-luxury cruise ship Seabourn Pursuit.

The boat has been tugged to Trieste from Cimar shipyard in San Giorgio di Nogaro, where it has been built, on board the same barge Arcalupa which last year made its first self-sinking tests, preparatory to the launch, in the waters mirroring Pier VII. The complex operation has been carried out on schedule and Seabourn Pursuit has sailed to Genoa to get outfittings ready for entering into service in 2023. Arcalupa is a product of Cimolai group and measures 127.2 mt in length, 31.5 mt in width and has a loading capacity of 14,000 tons.
