The Port of Trieste in Korea to strengthen commercial collaborations

A Port of Trieste’s delegation (Trieste Port Authority, Trieste Marine Terminal and the Trieste Chamber of Commerce) met Korean operators, importers, exporters and freight forwarders Associations and Shipping Lines last week in Seoul. B2B meetings and a general workshop have been organized to present to the Korean market the latest news about the container terminal of Trieste and the Trieste Port developments plan. The significant attendance of the Korean players have confirmed the interest of that market in the Trieste option as possible gateway for the Korean traffic to/from Italy and the Central/Eastern European countries and represent a good signal for a further growth of the existing Korean traffics flows via Trieste.

During a visit at the port of Busan, a Memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Port Authority of Busan and the Trieste Port Authority with the aim to further strenghten commercial and institutional collaboration between the two Ports.
